Jona co-founded cFactual and has delivered over 20 strategy and research projects. He is CEO of Astralis Foundation, focusing on secure and beneficial AI. Previously, he spent 3 years as a consultant with BCG (top 10% performer) and 2 years researching organizational psychology and AI for decision-making. Jona also founded Consultants for Impact and holds a degree in organizational psychology from the University of Vienna.

Abraham has extensive experience founding and scaling US nonprofits over the past decade. He served as COO at Rethink Priorities for 3 years, growing it from 10 to 100+ staff. He founded Good Structures, an operations consultancy, and works with cFactual on high-impact projects. Previously, Abraham co-founded and led Wild Animal Initiative as its first executive director. He holds a history degree from Oberlin College.

Philip brings over a decade of experience in consulting, investment, and entrepreneurship. He spent 6 years at McKinsey as a senior consultant and project leader. Philip also has 4 years of experience in family office management, venture capital, and real estate. He has co-founded multiple ventures. Philip holds an MSc in Management & Strategy from LSE and an MBA from INSEAD.

Melissa brings 7 years of experience with high-impact organizations across various management and operations roles. She most recently served as Senior People and Culture Manager at Rethink Priorities, where she managed a large expansion project leading to over 20 new hires. She has extensive experience designing and advising on performance management processes. Melissa studied anthropology and Italian at the University of Vermont.

Tim brings 16 years of experience from McKinsey, where he served as the Global Lead of Strategy & Innovation. He also has 11 years of venture capital experience in New York and Hong Kong. Tim began his career as a lawyer and holds degrees from Harvard (BA) and Yale (JD). He has been involved in supporting policy work, government agencies, and nonprofits for more than 30 years.

Max co-founded cFactual and led its AI policy engagements. He brings experience from both research (RAND, GovAI) and strategy consulting (BCG). He has led research projects on AI capability forecasting with particular focus on hardware, and has advised clients on strategic questions related to AI governance. Max holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford.
